Andrew & Laura certainly knew what they wanted for this day. They envisioned a small ceremony with their closest friends and family, portraits somewhere in nature - preferably near the ocean, and a relaxed reception dinner made up of lots of laughter and good food. In our opinion, this day was nothing but all of those things. The morning started off slowly and relaxed - the couple got ready on either sides of a door separating the two rooms. Laura’s kids, a part of every detail. An intentional involvement throughout the day. The couple met on the rooftop with the sun shining and the wind encouraging their excitement. That calmed the nerves to a degree. We ventured around downtown Vancouver and ending our portrait time near the ocean in Stanley Park. We found the perfect moment of stillness by the water and the sun met us there.

A ceremony to follow portraits came quickly and in perfect timing. Andrew waited for his bride and the rest flew by. They enjoyed cocktail hour and their dinner reception with their company and danced into the evening. We couldn’t have pictured a better day for these two love birds and enjoyed every moment of documenting it. So much so we considered following them to the tropics for their honeymoon!
